Man Hue Duong

Man Hue Duong was a toddler when her family escaped from the Fall of Saigon in 1978. After crossing the South China Sea to Malaysia, she nearly died of a fever in a refugee camp; two years later, her family immigrated to the U.S. and began a new life in Utica, NY.

Man graduated with her AS in Fine Arts at Munson Williams Proctor Institute and continued to work her way through the University of New York at New Paltz, earning a BFA in ceramics and BS in art education and later, a Masters in art education from Queen’s College.

Man received her 200 hours yoga certification at the acclaimed White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. and has also trained at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA., Yoga Sanctuary in Las Vegas, NV, and Bali Yoga Training with Noah Maze. She has over 600 hrs. of yoga training and is also certified in Aerial Yoga, Mini Yogis Children’s Yoga, and SPRY Method (Strength, Power, Resistance, Yoga). She is a Labor and Postpartum Doula and a working professional ceramic artist. Man has over 13 years of experience teaching yoga and 20 years of experience as a visual arts instructor. 

Currently she offers class, workshops, events and retreats at In Bloom Yoga (New Hartford, NY), Souls Stop (Clinton, NY), Syracuse Yoga (Syracuse, NY) and 4 Elements Art Studio (Utica, NY).
