Meg is known for her empowering and creative Vinyasa yoga classes. Her teaching style is physical, technical, safe and intelligent. A heart of Bhakti yoga is interwoven through it all, making her classes approachable and lighthearted, without lacking depth. In her classes, Meg will encourage you to move past the physical practice into other aspects of yoga; the breath, harnessing of the senses, shifting perception, detaching from the busy mind and connecting with your Divine within.
Meg’s hope is that her students take a deeper look into their practices past the mental noise that crowds our minds in this busy world. While cultivating physical energy and mental clarity, her intention is to guide her students into a balanced center in presence. Meg reminds students of the tools they inherently have to take their practice off their mats and into their lives.
Meg is grateful for her wonderful teachers and for all of the people in her life that have guided her towards her spiritual practice. Meg lives outside of Albany, NY with her two beautiful children and husband, Dustin. She teaches at JAI, right outside of Albany, NY. One of her greatest joys is teaching yoga and directing JAI’s 200-hour teacher training, Terra Firma. Meg enjoys practicing and studying yoga, good healthy food, enjoying nature, and most of all, her time with her family. Meg loves making connections and building community in this wonderful world of yoga.
